PROJECT APPROVAL
You sent your bid a few weeks ago and you have just received the outcome
letter from the selection panel: your project has been accepted!
Congratulations!
You can now inform your partners and be ready for the administrative
preparation work before the project is launched.
PROJECT REFUSAL
You have just learned that your project has been refused by the panel.
You are disappointed and it is normal to feel that way. Don’t worry, you still
have the possibility to re-submit your project at the next call for projects.
First, the panel may give you a scoreboard which has been used to
assess your project. Read it carefully, it will help you a lot.
There are two kinds of reasons why you have failed:- On one hand, reasons for which there is nothing you can do:
o
Your project doesn’t meet the funder’s
criteria;
o
Your project doesn’t meet the funder’s
priorities;
- On the other hand, reasons for which there is something you can do:
o
An administrative reason: a supporting
document is missing;
o
Your bid wasn’t detailed enough;
o
The budget wasn’t well balanced and
realistic enough.
Finally, check the next deadline for the co-funding programme you
are interested in so that you can prepare to re-submit your bid.
To conclude, look into your mistakes that led to your bid being refused
to allow you to bounce back.
